    This role is critical to our growth and to the future of intelligent automation at Path. As an AI Research Recruiter, you'll be responsible for attracting and engaging world-class talent across AI research, machine learning, robotics, and advanced software engineering. You'll work closely with technical leaders to hire researchers and engineers solving real-world problems at the intersection of AI and manufacturing, while also supporting other key roles across the business as needed.
    You'll operate in highly competitive talent markets, build deep technical pipelines, and help strengthen Path's reputation as a place where cutting-edge research meets real-world impact. You'll join a collaborative, ambitious team shaping the future of manufacturing through applied AI and robotics.
    What You'll Do
    • Own full-cycle recruiting for highly technical roles, with a primary focus on AI research, machine learning, robotics, and advanced software engineering.
    • Partner closely with technical leaders and researchers to define role scope, success profiles, and hiring strategies for complex, evolving roles.
    • Proactively source and engage high-impact candidates using creative, research-driven approaches, including LinkedIn, AI-powered sourcing tools, conferences, academic networks, referrals, and targeted outreach.
    • Build and maintain long-term pipelines for research-oriented talent, including PhDs, post-docs, and industry researchers.
    • Develop and nurture relationships with universities, research labs, academic programs, and student organizations to support early-career and research hiring.
    • Support recruiting efforts across other critical functions (e.g., product, go-to-market, operations) as business needs require.
    • Partner with hiring teams to continuously improve interview processes, candidate experience, and hiring outcomes.
    • Maintain accurate, high-quality data in Greenhouse (ATS) and leverage recruiting metrics to identify trends, improve efficiency, and inform hiring decisions.
    • Act as a brand ambassador for Path, clearly and authentically communicating our mission, technical challenges, and culture to candidates.
    Who You Are
    • Proven experience recruiting for highly technical roles, ideally within AI, machine learning, robotics, or research-driven engineering teams.
    • Strong technical sourcing skills and comfort engaging with deeply technical candidates, including researchers and senior engineers.
    • Experience building talent pipelines in competitive markets where top candidates are not actively looking.
    • Familiarity with modern recruiting tools, AI-enabled sourcing platforms, and applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse preferred).
    • Data-minded and comfortable using recruiting metrics to drive decisions, identify gaps, and improve processes.
    • Highly organized, adaptable, and energized by fast-moving environments with shifting priorities.
    • A trusted partner to hiring managers, known for clear communication, sound judgment, and follow-through.
