    Position: Executive Director

    Job Type: Full-time, Exempt

    Location: Hybrid; Portland, Bangor or Lewiston, Maine

    Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with one or two days a week working a sliding schedule that may start later in the day and, end as late as 9:00 PM.

    Reports To: Regional Director

    Salary: $85,100 - $94,300

    Leadership:

    In the role of Executive Director at EforAll, you will be the driving force behind our mission with the Maine community. This pivotal role demands an individual with exceptional emotional intelligence, unwavering integrity, top-tier communication skills, and an unswerving commitment to our organizational values. You will play a critical role in advancing our mission, with a particular focus on three key areas to not only manage the local site but also contribute to the growth of the national organization.

    Development and Fundraising:

    Local Site Fundraising: In collaboration with Regional Development Director & National Leadership, execute all local fundraising activities and expectations (outlined in Development Strategy). Engage in collaboration between local fundraising efforts and all areas of philanthropy, national programs, and marketing.

    Prospect Development and Donor Stewardship: Manage and cultivate a portfolio of donors and prospects with an emphasis on individual donor prospects. Conducts donor visits, cultivation and stewardship activities, and solicitations. Executes local donor communications and recognition, coordinating with the Regional Director and marketing department. Actively involved in grant management including cultivation, writing, tracking and reporting while utilizing national grant team for support. Support large-scale high-impact donors and prospects to support regional and national fundraising efforts.

    Advisory Council Oversight: Works with local Advisory Council Chairs to sustain and grow the Advisory Council, including identifying and recruiting new members, advising the fundraising knowledge and efforts of the Advisory Council. Oversee the cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of individual board members and ensure metrics are achieved.

    Community Engagement and External Relations:

    Recruitment: Develop, implement, and manage effective strategies to generate leads for recruiting volunteers, utilizing various channels such as social media, community outreach, and partnerships to maintain a robust and engaged volunteer base.

    Stakeholder Engagement: Initiate and strengthen relationships and collaborations with organizations and leaders who are connected to EforAll's mission and purpose. Expand stakeholder involvement, support, and contributions to increase performance and awareness in the local community, and support program implementation.

    Public Relations: Engage in activities such as presentations, active committee participation, and information dissemination via various media outlets. Supporting and leading external relations and supports for programs that include, but are not limited to events, public speaking, networking, etc.

    Local Oversight and Management:

    Performance Accountability: Responsible for target and goal setting, attainment and accountability of program, fundraising outcomes, and staff performance. Including but not limited to, progress monitoring of goals, co-creating lead measures for improved performance and leveraging networks to drive impact. Oversight for responsible fiscal stewardship and local resource allocation while advancing the program experience.

    People management: Management of staffing organizational resources and procedures. Providing local staff with a strong and supportive day-to-day leadership presence ensuring execution of results. Lead, coach, and develop the team with strong internal communication and coordination. Inspire collaboration, information sharing, thoughtfully listen, and respect the abilities of others to foster a collaborative professional culture at site.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Transparent and high-integrity leadership.
    • Demonstrated ability to oversee and collaborate with staff.
    • Excellent documentation, time management, and organizational skills.
    • Excellent written and oral communication.
    • Flexible and well-organized.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading, planning, organizing, running programs, and community work required.
    • Previous success in establishing relationships with individuals and organizations of influence, including funders, partner agencies, and volunteers.
    • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation (work-related travel is reimbursed).

    Skills and Abilities:

    • Tech-savvy with strong knowledge of video conferencing, social media, Google Suites, and comfortable learning new software.
    • Excellent documentation, time management, and organizational skills.
    • Passionate about startups and entrepreneurship.
    • Flexible and well-organized.
