Job Description
To help coordinate the daily activities of the Neonatal Transport Team, including performance inter-facility transports, responding to in-hospital neonatal medical emergencies, high-risk deliveries, newborn emergencies and assisting with neonatal procedures. This position would take on a leadership role for the team and would be responsible for representing the Neonatal Transport Team when needed, along with acting as a bridge to supervising management and other disciplines.
Minimum or Preferred Qualifications
MS - Masters of Science in Nursing required. 2 years of experience as a Neonatal Transport Nurse within the previous 2 years required. 5 years of experience in Neonatal Critical Care Nursing preferred. Neona Resus Prog (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Nurse Practitioner required upon hire. NRP Instructor certification and STABLE certification required within two years of hire. Attains Mercy Flight required education in Air Flight patient transport within 90 days of starting position and required to maintain annual Mercy Flight Education and competency inclusive of physical requirements for external transport of patients via helicopter, fixed wing, and/or ground transportation. Flight crew members are required at time of hire/transfer and must maintain thereafter to weigh pounds or less including flight suit with boots, helmet and additional equipment normally carried in flight suit. Existing team members as of 7/01/21 who do not meet the required weight, will have until 10/01/21 to be in compliance with the required weight limit.

Salary Range
$61.82-$76.66 per hour *Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.*
