    Inventory Control Manager
    Atlanta, Georgia


    Required Experience:

    • Ability to read, interpret, apply and explain rules, regulations & policies
    • 5+ years of experience in related area required
    Opportunity to lead inventory policies, initiatives, and objectives for family-owned produce distributor.
    Our client is a local produce distributor that has more than doubled since 2013.

    They are looking to add an Inventory Control Manager who will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining best in class inventory control standards, processes and compliance.

    The Inventory Control Manager will also manage and administer the overall inventory control, inventory flow, and inventory accuracy processes and be responsible for the analysis and publication of inventory reports in addition to measuring and monitoring the cycle counting program.

    Locates items that may have incorrect locations or stock numbers to assist Order Selectors.
    Communicates with Purchasing Department as needed regarding new items, changes of location, counts, etc.
    Ensures inventory accuracy and shrink are monitored and reported.
    Maximizes the performance of inventory processes and system to ensure care, custody, and control of inventory & accuracy.
    Provides required documentation in support of compliance requirements.
    Manages the planning and execution of cycle counts.
    Identifies areas of improvement and recommends and implements improved inventory control processes.

    Develops, implements and validates procedures, controls and systems that prevent, detect and correct errors in inventory transactions and balances.

    Maintains the integrity of inventory records while following established procedures.
    Researches complex transaction histories to reconcile inventory discrepancies.

    Knowledge & Skills


    • Ability to read, interpret, apply and explain rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
    • 5+ years of experience in related area required
