- Provide program management support to classified programs utilizing DoD acquisition processes and policies for the procurement of systems, subsystems, and life cycle acquisition management.
- Assist in initiating new prototype and development programs
- Employ acquisition program analysis in the areas of acquisition and contracting strategy, program planning and control, schedule development, test, configuration management, risk management, contract changes, financial management, production, and product support
- Assist in the planning, development, editing, and staffing of acquisition document products
- Develop and present briefings on program status and/or recommendations to senior leadership
- Conduct technical evaluations of contractor proposals
- Assist in annual program cost estimates and Program Objective Memorandum development and submission
- Interface with weapons system contractors, vendors, and Government users regarding programmatic aspects
- Support program technical interchange meetings, program management reviews, executive management reviews, test meetings, development/operational test events, integrated product team meetings, software/hardware design reviews, etc
- Perform program risk assessments and develop mitigation plans
- Transition programs to production and long-term sustainment
- A U.S
- An active SECRET security clearance with background investigation current within the past 6 years or under Continuous Evaluation
- A Bachelor's Degree with 7 years of relevant experience
- In depth knowledge of DoD acquisition program management
- An active TOP-SECRET security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), Special Access Program (SAP) and have eligibility with background investigation current within the past 6 years or under Continuous Evaluation
- A Master's degree
- 12 months or more of SAP experience within the past 5 years
- Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level II or III certification in Program Management
- 10 years of DoD Acquisition Program Office experience
- DoD Acquisition strategy, process development, and lifecycle management
