Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team.

As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential support to patients and assist the nursing staff in delivering quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the nursing staff
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times
• Provide basic life support measures when necessary
• Collect specimens for laboratory testing, including phlebotomy procedures
• Perform catheterization and spinal tap procedures under the supervision of medical professionals
• Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records
• Ensure a clean and organized patient environment
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create a positive and supportive atmosphere for patients

Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of a Nursing Assistant training program
• Previous experience in LTACH and/or hospital settings is preferred
• Proficient in basic life support techniques
• Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and documentation
• Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
