Description

We are seeking a Cash Controller for a contract role in NYC that is responsible for analyzing cash breaks between ledgers and bank statements for various entities with focus on swap dealer entity. Knowledge of various Fixed Income products from bonds to derivatives. Operational and Finance background would be ideal.

Essential Job Duties:

Daily review of GL cash balances vs Bank Statement

Generate Summary of breaks across currencies

Investigate break with operations/IT/Finance

Attend daily calls to find root cause of breaks

Month end review of cash balances vs statements

Balance sheet substantiation

Qualifications:

· Product Control/Operation experience with Fixed Income Products.

· Knowledge of cash processes.

· 7-10+ years of product control experience

· High attention to detail

· Fast learner and team player

· Strong analytic and problem-solving skills

· Highly proficient in Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables)

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills; the ability to clearly articulate ideas

· Accounting or Finance degree required

· Strong data management skills
