    HR COORDINATOR

    90% WORK FROM HOME

    This position works directly with our clients and oversees numerous internal projects.

    For our clients, the Senior HR Coordinator will:

    • Coordinate recruiting (post job openings, vet and screen qualified applicants)
    • Implement payroll processing and HRMS/HRIS for our clients as needed
    • Train client employees on how to use HRMS for their business
    • Under guidance from a Senior HR Advisor, create and update employee handbooks

    Internally, the Senior HR Coordinator will:

    • Ensure our forms database is up-to-date with the latest required documents
    • Assist our operations team members with projects as needed
    • Assist our clients and HR Advisors as needed
    • Track current developments in labor law and human resources

    From time to time, local travel to our clients will be needed (mostly within Los Angeles County), and there will be occasional meetings in our office in Encino, California. You need to be within driving distance of Encino and our LA County clients.

    Qualification

    • 4 years in the Human Resources industry in any capacity.
    • 2-3 years working with payroll and associated HR technologies (Workforce Now, Paychex Flex, Paylocity, BambooHR, etc.).
    • Experience as a payroll and HRIS/HRMS coordinator.
    • Tech-savvy. Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, Google Docs, Google Calendar, and project management software such as ClickUp. We use several software programs and our clients use varying payroll systems. The ability to grasp basic software concepts quickly is essential. Mastery of programs is a plus.
    • Analytical Skills Ability to interpret and review policies and procedures.
    • General familiarity with human resources either in your education or work background.
    • Superior communication skills oral and writing.
    • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
    • You must live within driving distance of Los Angeles County Although this is primarily work-from-home, the job requires visits to our clients in LA and Ventura Counties.

    Compensation

    Hourly rate is $35 when directly billing our clients, and $25 when doing support work that doesnt involve a client.

    401(k) participation with employer match.
