    Customer Service Representative Job Description at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust

    We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Nashua, New Hampshire. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a critical role in supporting their day-to-day financial needs and building trusted relationships.

    This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. You will be responsible for:

    • Assisting customers in identifying their financial needs and recommending additional products and services.
    • Recognizing and seizing opportunities to make referrals for loans, trusts, investments, insurance, and other exceptional services offered by the bank.
    • Gaining an understanding of the banking industry and contributing toward meeting branch goals in various categories.
    • Building trusting relationships with individuals in the communities we serve.
    • Being an active participant in and advocate for community growth and prosperity.
    • Processing transactions for customers in a prompt, efficient, courteous, and professional manner.
    • Providing exceptional customer service, resolving inquiries effectively, and following through with customers.

    You will have the opportunity to gain general banking knowledge and master routine transactions, including account opening. An interest and experience in customer service and a working knowledge of Windows are essential for this position.
