Job DescriptionFreedom Detox is seeking a Clinical Director to join their amazing team in Gastonia NC
Salary Range is 70k - 80k per year
Masters Degree Required from an accredited college alongside a professional counseling license. (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LCMHC)
Summary:
The Clinical Supervisor oversees all clinical services and is responsible for adherence to clinical standards and compliance expectations in collaboration with program and corporate leadership.
Deliverables/Principal Results Expected:
• Supervises the counselors.
• Evaluates potential clients for the appropriate level of care requirements and identifies their DSM VTR diagnoses, Axis I-V.
• Assists the counselors in the development of the treatment plans.
• Facilitates treatment team meetings and participates in case consults.
• Provides individual and group supervision to the counselors and other staff as assigned.
• Attends shift change and company meetings.
• Maintains caseload as needed.
• Assists the Program Director in developing new programs for the facility.
• Attends trainings as necessary.
• Clerical duties as required for maintenance of client files.
• Listens to clients concerning all areas of treatment.
• Maintains safe, orderly and therapeutic environment for clients including crisis intervention.
• Ensures clinical program occurs daily as scheduled.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervise all clinical staff
Required Qualifications
Licensure, Education, & Experience
• Masters degree in a Master's Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, or related fields
• Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC), Licensed Independent Social Workers (LISW)

• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Sound clinical judgment and excellent clinical skills
• Ability to problem solve by gathering and analyzing information
• Ability to handle a crisis situation and react appropriately
• A working knowledge of federal and state standards as well as regulating body standards.
• Ability to navigate and utilize EMR effectively.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb stairs, stand, walk, stoop, twist, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must seldom lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet & indoors. This position will be scheduled based on operational need & will be required to provide own transportation. Incumbent may be exposed to virus, disease, and/or infection from clients in the work environment. Incumbent may be exposed to traumatic situations (i.e. psychiatric).
