    Job Description


    As a Financial Operations Manager you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day relationship with multiple clients, ensuring their financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

    You will report directly to the Director of Operations and work closely with other members of our Financial Operations team to provide exceptional service to our clients.

    Job Responsibilities

    Perform detailed review of account reconciliations (bank accounts, loan accounts, credit cards) and review of income statement and balance sheet for accuracy.

    Distribute monthly financial statements to clients, communicate results, answer performance questions, and provide recommendations.
    Prepare financial statements and ad hoc reports as necessary (trial balance, income statement, balance sheet).
    Assist with training of new staff and student interns.
    Calculate and prepare sales tax returns and tax payments.
    Assist with 1040 returns and business returns based on experience level.
    Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
    Communicate with clients and provide excellent customer service.
    Qualifications

    At least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
    Experience in Financial Statement review and analysis.
    Experience with Quickbooks Online, Microsoft Excel and other cloud-based accounting solutions.
    Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures is a plus.
    Ability to analyze and solve problems.
    Work with confidentiality and integrity.
    Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
