    Your Role: What you'll be doing

    This engineering position is responsible for developing designs to satisfy Transportation & Handling requirements. Transportation & Handling includes Ground Support Equipment to transport flight hardware, handle hardware/components and provide Launch Operations access to the launch vehicle.

    Create models and produce/release drawings used for fabrication. Designs shall be optimized for manufacturing, producibility, and usability.

    Work with ULA subcontract administration and manufacturers thru fabrication, test and acceptance.

    Support first use of hardware to ensure proper installation and processing

    Must be available for periodic travel to the other ULA sites

    Your Background: What education and experience you'll need

    Requires a bachelors degree and 2 - 6 years of experience.

    Your Background: What skills you'll need

    Bachelors of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

    Proficient with NX (preferred) or CREO, Teamcenter, MS Office, MS Project

    Proficient in drawing standards and GD&T

    Experienced contributor that can work in a fast pace environment.

    Work experience on projects in which integration between different engineering disciplines occurred (e.g. structural, electrical, test, analysis)

    Able to work independently

    Identifies key barriers/core problems and applies problem solving skills

    Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems

    Summary Salary Range (Colorado Only)

    $75,292 - $117,596

Salaries are based upon a candidates experience and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in addition to base pay.*
