    JOB SUMMARY:


    A Mechanic for Polaris Off Road will repair fleet inventory, complete parts installations, and perform maintenance on vehicles used for events, marketing and for sale at auction.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Prepare vehicles for events, marketing (photo shoots/videos), resale, or scrap
    • Perform maintenance, repairs and update parts on vehicles
    • Prepare and clean vehicles for Off Road events
    • Track repair history using Digital Wrench software
    • Maintain organization of vehicle inventory
    • Maintain strict confidentiality
    • Maintain a clean, safe work area and meet OSHA requirements
    • Perform other assignments as requested
    • Travel (approximately 15%) to support onsite vehicle preparation at events, marketing sites, etc.
    SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE


    • High school diploma required
    • Minimum 5 years' mechanic or technician experience preferred
    • Basic computer skills required
    • Valid driver's license required
    • Powersports experience required
    • Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds)
    • Must be capable of driving Off Road vehicles up ramps into semi-trailers and back them off
    • Must be capable of driving trucks with trailers (<26,000 GCVR)
    • Must be capable of operating fork lifts (Polaris fork lift certification preferred)
    • Must have demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude
    • Must possess knowledge of AS400 system
    • Must have or obtain Polaris ATV & ROHVA safety certificates
    • Must be willing to accept assignment changes and maintain a positive attitude toward change
    • Ability to work overtime (at times on short notice)
