    Massage Therapy License in the State of KY

    Physical Requirements:

    Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time, must be able to perform 90 minute massage sessions.

    First Shift

    Job Summary:

    Conducts brief assessments of all new massage therapy clients and documents findings. Provides safe, effective and appropriate massage services to clients based on individual and health-related needs. Perform health history and updates prior to each session. Ascertain precautions/contraindications for massage prior to each session. Explains procedures and applies techniques appropriate to clients' needs and preferences. Develop massage therapy program for growth. Perform all duties in a manner which reflect UK Healthcare's mission and values.

    Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:

    Specialty certifications/trainings for specialty areas, Microsoft Office.

    Preferred Education/Experience:

    Prefer experience and certifications in additional Integrative Medicine modalities such as Massage Therapy, Reiki, Reflexology, Acupuncture, etc.
