    LHH is partnering with our client in Troy in their search for an IT Operations Manager.

    The IT Operations Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing vendors and overall operations to ensure stable IT service delivery. This role involves collaborating with vendors to establish standards, developing, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas such as PCs, operating systems, and IT Systems. The Operations Manager oversees Service Desk/Infrastructure/DevOps (Outsourced) to ensure timely assistance for end-users, managing incident identification, prioritization, and resolution processes. Collaborating with MSP/Vendors, IT, and Executive Leadership, the Operations Manager develops and implements service management policies based on ITIL framework to uphold high service levels and user experience. As a member of the IT Leadership, they work with peers to achieve IT goals.

    Requirements:

    Essential Functions:

    • Participate in strategic and operational planning, including resource allocation negotiation.
    • Develop short- and long-term strategic plans for operational capacity.
    • Implement service management policies based on ITIL framework.
    • Execute cloud computing strategies and manage operational security policies.
    • Assess code quality and technical documentation with external partners.
    • Analyze internal requests and evaluate alternatives.
    • Update User's Manual and manage licenses.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Prioritize design, maintenance, and support of operational systems with IT Vendors.
    • Develop and oversee service support processes to meet SLAs.
    • Conduct feasibility studies and define hardware/software standards.
    • Establish and maintain communication with stakeholders.
    • Manage vendors effectively.
    • Stay updated with technology trends.
    • Manage special projects and produce executive action plans.
    • Knowledge of programming languages and security tools.
    • Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in computer science or 4+ years related work experience.
    • Experience leading outsourced Service Desk Teams.
    • Strong technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems.
    • Familiarity with cloud computing technologies.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft technologies.
