- Direct and coordinate electrical system design, construction, maintenance, and testing activities
- Evaluate electrical systems reliability, performance, and safety
- Develop and maintain the facility's electrical model
- Collaborate with project managers on electrical capital projects
- Assist in budgeting and cost estimation for projects
- Prepare specifications for materials and equipment
- Stay updated on industry knowledge and trends
- Provide mentorship and technical support to teams
- Ensure safety and compliance through work execution
- Manage external engineering and electrical resources
- Perform other assigned duties
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited college or university
- 7+ years of experience in the field
- Previous experience with Power Distribution Systems
- Knowledge of NEC and NFPA codes
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in paper mill or heavy manufacturing
- P.E. licensure preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and power modeling software
- Project management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Customer service orientation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Positive attitude and collaborative mindset
- Regular sitting, standing, and walking
- Manual dexterity and ability to work in front of a computer screen
- Visual abilities and hand/eye coordination
- Hearing and speaking capabilities
