    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Participate in daily cross functional interaction and teamwork with Engineering, Operations, Suppliers and Customers
    • Monitor quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
    • Collect and analyze production data to evaluate product quality and stop production if serious product defects are present
    • Drive root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions
    • Support in-house program audits and corrective action program in support of AS9100 certification.
    • Lead both CSI and GSI inspections and provide customer all documentation required
    • Produce reports regarding nonconformance of products or processes, root cause analyses, or quality trends
    • Review statistical studies, regulatory standards and trends in the field of quality control
    • Identify critical points in the Value Stream and specify sampling procedures
    • Drive qualification of product and process changes to ensure only the highest levels of quality are accepted
    • Run and lead internal audits with Defense, Aerospace and Customer Auditors
    • Provide support for failure analysis as required
    • Instruct others in quality control and analytical procedures
    • Review and approve quality document changes - Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), deviations

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • BA or BS degree in Quality, Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
    • 2-3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a Manufacturing or Electronics environment
    • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field; Experience completing internal audits
    • Demonstrated ability to rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
    • Proficiency in Lean Principles and Implementation Tools and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
    • Educational background in Structured Problem Solving, 5S, Mistake-Proofing and process capability tools
    • Familiarity with Minitab
    • ASQC Quality Engineer Certification
    Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
