    Total Safety is looking for a Registered Nurse to add to their safety conscious team. The Registered Nurse will provide administrative, clerical and back-up medical support to customer site.


    Including, but not limited to:
    absence management, medical record maintenance, and other general administrative duties as assigned.

    JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


    Performs general administrative support including report distribution and ordering medical supplies Schedules physicals, drug tests, and other medical appointments Prepares paperwork for all medical visits (physicals, return to work visits, office visits, etc.) Prepares daily appointment sheet for scheduled clinic activity Provides back-up medical support as requested by the facility physician and/or nurse, assisting with physical testing, administering injections and drug testing Maintains medical charts, prepare new charts, update employee information due to changes (transfers, job title changes, name changes, etc.), and archive charts Maintains all electronic medical data, including, but not limited to, medical data entry (return to work visits, audio testing, physicals, office visit, etc.) updates to the Tier Tracker spreadsheet, updates to the Absence Tracker spreadsheet, etc.

    Maintains master records list for all paper and electronic files Maintains and distribute the monthly sick leave and weekly absence reports to designated personnel Assures timely notification to HR of all FMLA denials and approvals Initial and on-going systematic patient assessment Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately Teaching and counseling patients/families Positive, caring and customer-service oriented attitude Performs other administrative duties as requested by the facility physicianQUALIFICATIONSA minimum of four years' experience is required.

    Positive attitude and the ability to handle highly confidential information Robust customer service skills Competence in Rapid Response and code events Critical care experience, (preferred)EDUCATIONA minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent and RN certification is required.

    Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) requiredCPR, First Aid certificateOTHER REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE OR ABILITIESProficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and other data base software Promoting continuous quality improvement Skilled in handling emergency and life-threatening situations Strong communication skills and the capability to work independently with minimal guidance Knowledge of medical policies, strategies, programs and activities Ability to communicate effectively with others, both written and verbal communication INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATIONSDevelops strong relationships with customer personnel.

    Frequent customer presentation.
    Frequent contact with operations, purchasing, training and accounting to understand and resolve issues.
