- Join appropriate metals to specifications.
- Prepare metals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effective assembly.
- Interpret specifications and blueprints accurately.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Regular cleaning and inspecting welding equipment and tools.
- Operate cranes and other machinery to transport materials to welding worksites.
- Work with various power tools.
- Determining machine settings.
- Diagnosing issues and troubleshooting as required.
- Communicate with the plant manager or supervisor, report any issues, and makesuggestions for improvement.
- High School Diploma
- 2 years of welding experience preferred. Must have experience with stainless steal and black iron (A.K.A-carbon steel)
- Must be able to pass a Fillet Welds- (1F) test (entry-level)
- Must be able to pass an all-position test ( experienced level)
- Forklift experience is a plus, but not required. Will train.
- Excellent stamina, strength, and dexterity.
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
- A willingness to learn and work overtime when required.
