    Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

    Experience:


    • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.


    • Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.


    • Travel experience is required from any number of months.


    • Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

    Requirements:


    • Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).


    • This role will require floating to multiple units


    • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.


    • Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.


    • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System.

    Additional Details:

    Lab Completion: All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing.

    You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

    Required Skills/Experience:Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
    -Required Skills: MS/Tele, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Pacemakers/Temporary/Permanent, Feeding tube care and management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Heparin Protocols, Ortho trauma, Total joint replacement, Surgical drains, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Tracheostomy care/management, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Wound Care/Wound Vac
    -Previous Charge Experience: Required

    Required Credentials: ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID.

    Special Requests: RTO/Block & Special Scheduling Requests: Must submit requests upon submission.

    Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend.

    Floating Requirements: Note: Med Surg

    References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

    10 days maximum time off

    2 references from last 2 years (Any reference type) - required for submission
