    Regional Director of Sales and Service

    Centennial, CO or Central or South America

    Luthi Machinery Company is a world leader in the manufacturing and leasing of tuna can-filling machines. Luthi also manufacturers cutting machines for poultry, meat and tuna, as well as pet food.

    Atlas and Luthi operate their leasing company, with manufacturing in Pueblo, Colorado; administration in Centennial, Colorado; and sales and service offices located across the globe.

    POSITION SUIMMARY &


    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Full accountability for performance of departments and functions under responsibility to include revenue and margin, market share, product development, budget, customer acquisition and retention, continuous improvement, etc.

    Manage overall sales and service activities in Europe and South America for Atlas Pacific Engineering and Luthi Machinery. Take ownership to deliver the regional financial targets and strategic plan. Supervises management staff.

    Uphold and exemplify all safety standards, policies, and rules
    Accountabilities in sales and service, administration, and operations activities
    Exceed customer expectations and continue to nurture customer relationships built on trust and support
    Split time between customer visits and office interaction with staff
    Travel to corporate office in Centennial, CO for budget planning meeting annually
    Business Development and Customer Relationships
    Develop strong relationships with customers, from senior management level to operational level
    Prepare business proposals and assure contract renewals. Follow up on contract documents.
    Seek new business opportunities. Monitor the industry and markets, competitors' activities, and regional developments
    Effectively communicate customer activity that would affect sales and service goals
    Contribute to idea generation for new products and product line extensions
    Set and lead execution of Strategic and Tactical goals
    Ensure appropriate measurement tools are in place for tracking process performance. Analyze data and determine the best utilization of assets and resources, along with identifying and implementing process improvement projects.
    Establish a structured approach to process improvement with clear timelines and milestones

    Service Department Collaboration
    Collaborate with Service Manager to oversee staffing, work hours, and part orders to meet budget goals
    Jointly with Service Manager oversee and support repairs, overhauls, preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment
    Provide leadership and development to functional teams. Create a performance-based and teamwork-oriented work environment.
    Consistently and accurately follow standard work procedures, safety procedures, policies, etc.
    Collaborate with engineering team to identify and address technical issues and implement solutions such as carry out Service Bulletin changes

    Administration

    Lease administration:
    communicate with corporate Lease Administrator to ensure all leases are up to date, accurate, and properly executed by the customer
    Assure all branding and marketing guidelines are adhered to across all regions and products
    Attend, and participate in industry trade shows and exhibitions
    Attend and participate in annual sales meetings
    Complete all other duties as assigned
    Contribute to idea generation for new products and product line extensions
    Set and lead execution of Strategic and Tactical goals.
    Review, advise and control all Budgeted Costs including travel, entertainment, trade show spend

    WHAT IT TAKES TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
    Must have or be able to obtain a passport for international travel
    Bachelors Degree required; MBA preferred

    10 plus years of global sales experience with a minimum of 5 years experience leading global sales and service department preferably in food processing equipment industry (Original Equipment Manufacturer).


    Demonstrated experience and success in:
    Growing sales and market share across multiple regions around the world
    Increasing profitability of existing product portfolio
    Bringing new products to market
    Managing and developing global sales and service teams

    Extensive experience in CRM systems to include implementation (Salesforce preferred).
    Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships across different cultures and geographical locations.
    Successful experience in developing and executing sales and Marketing plans (new and existing products).
    Experience managing (oversight) contracts and legal agreements (LTAs, Lease Agreements, Service Contracts, IP/Patents, etc.).

    Experience planning and executing global sales meetings

    Must be willing and able to travel (domestic and international) 30-40%
    High degree of professionalism including ability to maintain confidentiality
    High degree of integrity and business ethics
    Fluent English and Spanish
