    Job Summary:
    The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth in employer partnerships for Weld Seattle's Weld Work program.

    We are looking for a proactive, energetic, and motivated individual who relishes the challenge of connecting with prospective corporate and government partners and business, understands their unique needs, and delivers Weld Works employment solutions.

    Your responsibilities will include extensive prospecting and outreach, networking and cultivating new relationships, and closing new contracts.


    Duties/Responsibilities:
    Prospecting and Outreach: 30%

    Research and qualify prospects.
    Scout and secure new company account opportunities through savvy prospecting, strategic networking, and effective lead generation.
    Represent Weld Seattle's brand at local industry meetings and events, unearthing fresh leads and

    Cultivation: 20%

    Work in tandem with marketing to craft and implement high-impact sales communications and
    Offer unparalleled service and support to prospects throughout the sales
    Cultivate new relationships with multiple stakeholders within a company including C-suite executives, Human Resources staff, and shift managers.
    Leverage key ambassadors, Weld leadership, and board members to strategically open new doors in the business community.

    Close and Maintain New Contracts: 30%
    Craft and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential corporate.
    Constantly close 5-10 new contracts
    Steward relationships with key decision makers after contracts are signed and renew.
    Keep open lines of communication and connect corporate partners to Weld's mission.

    Administrative and Other Duties: 20%

    Maintain meticulous records of sales activities and prospect details in
    Creating and formatting sales proposals, contracts, and presentations for
    Gain a thorough understanding of industry trends, local market dynamics, and emerging employment opportunities.
    Generating regular sales reports to track performance metrics, goals, and key performance.


    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    Proven sales prowess, with at least 3 years of experience in B2B sales (outside and/or inside).
    Comfortable cold calling, networking, and speaking publicly about the
    Exceptional Communication and interpersonal
    Proven deal-closing
    Demonstrated ability to organize and coordinate work efficiently; prioritize workload, work under pressure with tight timelines and changing priorities.
    Ability to work with external and internal stakeholders from a wide variety of professional.


    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    Lived experience overcoming incarceration, addiction, and/or homelessness.
