    Job Summary

    The Billing Analyst is responsible for accurate and timely billing for AET's products and services.

    *This position offers part-time hours and is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. The part-time Billing Analyst will work an average of 20 hours per week during the first two weeks and 30 hours per week during the last two weeks of each month.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Interact with internal and external customers while gathering support data to ensure invoice accuracy and work through specific billing discrepancies.
    • Provide input to policies, systems, methods, and procedures for the effective management and control of the billing function.
    • Work closely with all leaders and account managers to ensure accurate billing.
    • Preparing, issuing, and sending invoices & credit memos.
    • Reviewing job cost sheets to ensure the billing of all sales.
    • Reconciling invoices with balance sheet reports and resolving any discrepancies.
    • Communicating with clients and other departments, resolving issues, and providing clarifications.
    • Work with team to ensure clients' billing accounts are set up correctly and according to their requirements.
    • Preparing reports and meeting billing deadlines.
    • Assisting with collections (invoice uploads, invoice copies, missing invoices in Monarch).
    • Analyzing all billing procedures and identifying opportunities for improvement.

    Qualifications and Education Requirements

    • AS Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
    • And/or 3 years' experience as a Biller or in a similar role.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Dynamics, data entry and accounting software programs

    Work Environment

    This job primarily operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This position will occasionally be required to operate in a field environment.
