    JOB SUMMARY:

    Serves civil papers, criminal warrants and enforces the law within the State of Texas. Patrols assigned area, answers calls for service, investigates criminal activity, submits reports and makes arrests.

    Responsibilities:
    • Serves civil papers and criminal warrants as directed.
    • Patrols precinct to deter crime.
    • Assists public within scope of authority.
    • Secures and preserves crime scenes.
    • May work with traffic enforcement/traffic investigation.
    Qualifications:

    High School Diploma/GED; Basic TCOLE certification. One-year job experience or two years of college (60 Credit Hours). Strong verbal communication skills; the ability to interact effectively with the public. Valid Texas drivers license, and firearms proficiency.

    SALARY RANGE: Volunteer - No Salary
