    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Operate press brake machinery with expertise and precision.
    • Select, position, and align various types of brake tooling for optimal performance.
    • Set up brake press machines using blueprints and computer-stored information.
    • Read and comprehend work orders to execute tasks accurately.
    • Interpret drawings and develop forming sequences using multiple tooling sets to enhance efficiency
    • Utilize bend allowance or set-back to determine bend lines and stock leftover.
    • Form simple to complex parts within specified tolerances, both for short and long production runs.
    • Employ gauges and precision measuring instruments to ensure the precision of close tolerance work, making routine adjustments to machinery and measuring instruments as required for quality assurance.
    • Conduct inspections, including 1st piece, mid-run, and "1st article" inspections, documenting dimensional results accurately.
    • Collaborate with management and engineering/programming teams on special or prototype projects and tool testing.
    • Effectively troubleshoot problems and irregularities in a timely manner to minimize disruptions.
    • Set up and execute complex bend operations, including custom punch/die modifications used in combination with other tooling.
    • Perform intricate programming utilizing all press brake features, such as bending angles, back gauge transfer, delays, etc.
    • Maintain press brake equipment through proper Lock Out/Tag Out procedures, regular cleaning, lubrication, and maintenance as per manufacturer recommendations and company requirements.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience as a Press Brake Operator.
    • Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting drawings.
    • Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
    • Knowledge of bend allowance, set-back, and forming sequences.
    • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and gauges.
    • Ability to perform routine machinery adjustments for quality assurance.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
