    Cost Center:

    Types of procedures required.
    ARTERIAL AND VENOUS DOPPLER EXAMS (ULTRA-SOUND)


    • Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)
    Philips epic 7, Parks flow lab, vascu-pro reporting system


    • Required skills and minimum years of experience.
    Work independently performing above exams
    Minimum of two years vascular sonographer experience required.


    Experience with various hospital equipment (e.g., ultrasound systems with color Doppler and spectral analyzer, transcranial Doppler ultrasound system, O2 equipment, pulsed volume recorder and segmental pressure measurement system, and treadmill) required.

    Experience with hospital computer information system, digital reporting system, and typical office equipment (e.g., copy machine, fax machine) required.


    • Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)
    RVT or RVS with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), as well as AHA BLS


    • Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required?
    If so, how often? Are weekends required?)


    Will need to work alone on occasion, will work 7:30am-4pm (M-F) as well as participate in call rotation (nights and weekend call).


    • Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?)

    Will need to follow staff for approx 2 weeks before on their own.

    Small hospital needing coverage for a medical leave.
