Job summary:
The job requires assessing, planning, treating and evaluating patients during preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative phases of nursing care. The nurse assists the physician during surgery and procedures by functioning in the circulating role. They develop an optimal interdisciplinary plan of care that incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual,economic and lifestyle factors.
- The nurse fosters collaborative relationships between patients,
families/supervisors/physicians and other healthcare providers through timely communications.
