Job summary
This role involves screening cargo for clearance prior to shipping Manages the delivery or deployment of contracted services to customers to ensure that SLAs (service level agreements) and KPI (key performance indicators) as defined in the relevant contracts are met or exceeded Supports business products by collaborating with vendors customers and other internal support groups Responsible for daily facility activities related to government compliance inbound receipts kitting processing orders procuring suppliers managing inventory staffing facility inspections employee engagement development safety security profitability etc Performs a variety of financial activities including forecasting allocations adjustments and creating annual business plans to meet business unit and corporate initiatives Responsible for retaining and strengthening customer relationships which may include face-to-face customer service Identifies and recommends opportunities for improving efficiency effectiveness capabilities operation May provide support field stocking locations FSL agent locations across multiple geographies support provider network May operate powered industrial equipment Performs technical analytical maintenance work Typically knowledge gained through combination formal education vocational degree program on-the-job training Requires working knowledge skills perform defined set of analytical scientific operational processes Applies experience skills complete assigned work within own area expertise Works standard operating procedures scientific methods Works moderate degree supervision Employee Type Permanent UPS committed providing workplace discrimination harassment retaliation Other Criteria UPS equal opportunity employer UPS does not discriminate race/color/religion/sex/national origin/veteran/disability/age/sexual orientation/gender identity law Basic Qualifications Must US Citizen National U.S alien lawfully admitted permanent residence alien authorized work U.S Seniority level Entry level Employment type Contract Job function Engineering Information Technology Industries Truck TransportationJob description
