    POSITION SUMMARY:
    The individual should possess strong interpersonal relationship building skills, as well as strong networking abilities. Existing relationships with contacts at major entertainment studios A+. Strong entrepreneurial mindset is a must.

    The role entails organizing and managing a roster of licensors and brands to support the company in achieving consistent growth and long-term success.

    The Licensing Manager/Director is responsible for satisfying the needs of our business partners ensuring efficient internal process and partner satisfaction are consistently met.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE LICENSING MANAGER INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    Work closely with CEO, COO, and cross functioning team members on seasonal and annual strategies that will maximize revenue and growth.

    Methodical and meticulous business management of the day-to-day, current and growth licenses / brands.
    Responsible for analyzing and reporting new business trends and growth strategies.

    Draft deal memos, negotiate with and on behalf of the CEO.Research, forecast and collaborate with CEO on vetting new licensors / brands.

    Weekly virtual housekeeping meets with licensor and brand business partners.
    Liase closely with best in class licensors to provide business updates, sell-in reporting, and sell through reporting.
    Cultivate and manage strong internal and external relationships.
    Cross collaboration with internal, licensor and brand creative teams.
    Attend key meetings and trade shows.
    Ability to build and grow the licensing department on the foundation in place.
    Qualifications7+ years experience in a similar role within an apparel companyExcellent oral and written communication skills.

    Computer Skills; Microsoft Office, proficient working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables A+) (excel training available)Children's apparel / character licensing experience A+Must be organized, detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks and deadlines with a sense of urgency.
