    Job Summary:


    We are seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to support the construction activities for a baghouse system in Wyoming.

    The Quality Assurance Inspector will report to the Project Manager to monitor the quality of structural steel and baghouse component installation reporting findings to management.

    The Quality Assurance Inspector will plan and perform quality audits, surveillance, and evaluation against applicable procedure requirements with report out of any findings.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


    • Skills in planning and performing quality audits, surveillance, and evaluations to applicable procedure requirements.
    • Demonstrated ability to Interface with senior management and clearly communicate issues.
    • Demonstrated strong teamwork skills.
    • Evaluate production processes for compliance with quality requirements.
    • Periodically inspect and calibrate auditing tools.
    • Assist in development of audit plans, audit schedules.
    • Participate in quality audits (and lead a team of quality auditors, when needed)
    • Identify processes, situations, etc., where organization is meeting requirements, as well as identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Assist audit team in developing audit reports; present audit reports to top management, as needed.
    • Assist with follow-up audits, as required.
    • May be required to develop internal auditing/testing parameters.

    Job Requirements:


    • Ability to perform audit programs, timely reports, audit communications, and audit follow-up and follow-through.
    • Ability to perform problem resolution, observation, and tracking of site construction activities.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively convey essential information, facts, and ideas.

    Physical Requirements:


    • Physical ability to lift and carry 25 pounds.
    • Physical ability to climb ladders/scaffolds.
    • Ability to safely traverse uneven surfaces, ascend/descend ladders, stairs, and scaffolding, and walk for prolonged distances.

    Education / Experience:


    • Associate or Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences or other technical education is desired.
    • 2+ years of Quality Assurance experience is required.
    • Experience with inspection of structural steel is required.
    • MSHA certification is preferred.
    • PT certification is preferred.
