    Client Service Representative


    We are on the lookout for an experienced Client Service Representative to become a part of our team. At VCA Animal General of East Norwich, we take our commitment seriously - your pet's well-being is our main focus with exceptional service as our objective. Our services are catered to the areas of East Norwich, Brookville, Oyster Bay, Bayville, and Glen Cove. With every interaction, our goal is to surpass the expectations of every pet owner.

    We are in need of a friendly yet highly professional 'service extraordinaire' to assist us in fulfilling our mission towards our clients and their beloved pets.

    Why You Matter:
    As the welcoming face of VCA Animal General of East Norwich, the Client Service Representative plays a vital role in shaping the atmosphere of the practice as we establish and reinforce each client's trust and confidence in our capabilities. The CSR is central to the functioning of the hospital and is tasked with:


    Responsibilities include:
    - Performing customer service duties such as greeting visitors, handling phone calls, and escorting clients and their pets to examination rooms.
    - Managing appointment schedules and confirming them.
    - Conducting outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to potential clients.
    - Explaining and presenting fees, processing payments efficiently.
    - Recommending, selecting, and acquiring products and services, including prescriptions.
    - Addressing inquiries about products and services, offering advice on general animal care and non-medical pet issues (e.g., heartworm prevention, house training, and flea & tick control).
    - Overseeing medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence.
    - Ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of the hospital premises, both indoors and outdoors.

    Compensation is negotiable based on experience and qualifications, ranging from $18 to $22 per hour initially.
