    Sales Manager Job Summary

    The Soft Drink Sales Manager is responsible for leading and driving change in the sales, delivery, and merchandising activities within their assigned area of responsibility.

    They are also responsible for assisting the VP of Soft Drink Sales with the establishment of monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives and the attainment of those objectives.

    What you will do as the

    Sales Manager:
    Direct and monitor the Soft Drink Sales Team in the areas of sales, placements, distribution, product rotation, code dates, pricing, POS, displays, and cooler position/sets
    Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives
    Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company's customer base
    Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful channel and partner programs as well as local and national programs
    Meet or Exceed set KPIs and other performance goals including Volume, Margin, Out Date/Breakage, and New Product Distribution
    Create and maintain annual budget

    What you will bring to the role as the

    Sales Manager:
    Bachelor's degree in Sales and Marketing
    5+ years of experience in a sales and marketing management position
    Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management
    Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations
    Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts
    Ability to motivate teams to produce results within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects
    Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills
    Established contacts and relationships with potential customers and channel partners
