    JOB DESCRIPTION:


    Our Career Connections Specialist is accountable for assuring excellence in the offerings of Goodwill's Career Connection's Center, a center which is open to the public for job search and career assistance. The Specialist is innovative in reaching and motivating individuals with social, personal and other barriers to employment as they search for positions. The Specialist establishes community ties to facilitate job placement and creates a support network of employers and agencies to promote employment opportunities.

    The Career Connections Specialist will be responsible for the following:
    Assuring that participant information is recorded, stored, and reported appropriately.
    Assisting with job applications, resume writing, etc.
    Relating to all levels of individuals, making everyone feel comfortable while maintaining professionalism at all times.
    Seeing the value in each individual and ensuring that Goodwill's goals and participant goals are met simultaneously.

    REQUIRES VALID NORTH CAROLINA DRIVER LICENSE (for some locations)

    EXPERIENCE: Strong computer skills, ability to provide great customer service, any additional experience in relationship building would be preferred.
