We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inbound Customer Service Representative (Scheduling) to join our team.
The primary responsibilities of this role include scheduling trips, managing reservations, and providing accurate information about transit schedules to our passengers.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Efficiently takes customer calls for information on transit services and schedules requested trip reservations during operating hours.
Enters accurate trip data.
Familiarized with pricing of trips and areas covered by BCRTA services.
Manages communication of changes, additions, cancellations during service and will be required to learn the scheduling and call center processes.
Understands the importance of contracts and subcontracting trips to other providers.
Coordinates with other Dispatch team members and management to provide consistent messages to internal and external clients.
Prioritizes incoming communications and responses to provide superior customer service.
Effectively intakes customer complaint and forwards to appropriate coordinator or management.
Maintains composure and acts thoughtfully under pressure.
Promotes a positive public image of BCRTA and exceeds customer expectations.
Reports time off accurately.
Performs assignments as directed by management.

About Butler County RTA
BCRTA is a political subdivision of the State of Ohio organized as a Regional Transit Authority under Ohio code.
BCRTA acts as the designated recipient for Federal Transit Funds and provides public transportation services within and around Butler County, Ohio including Hamilton, Middletown, Fairfield, West Chester, Oxford, and Miami University.
The BCRTA employs or directs around 120 transit employees and manages an annual budget over $7M. BCRTA is governed by a nine-member Board of Trustees.
