Position: Showroom Outdoor Living Sales Rep/Designer

Location: Synergy Outdoor Living at UTC in Lakewood Ranch

Type: Full-time

Compensation: Competitive Base Pay + Commission - range is $75,000 to $95,000+ per year with no cap.

Required Experience

• Strong experience with design software such as SketchUp and 2020.
• Strong sales experience with outdoor lighting and speakers, outdoor shades and awnings, and TVs and mounts.

What You'll Do:

• Design and sell the full offering of Synergy Outdoor Living products – including outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, water features, and technology – using the showroom, software and tools provided.
• Maintain client relationships, throughout the sales / design / install / follow up referral process, exhibiting professionalism and following good ethical practices.
• Schedule and perform site visits to inspect job site, take measurements, and identify potential sales opportunities and/or install challenges.
• Maintain preparedness and general cleanliness of showroom / workspaces / vehicle.
• Use company CRM software and additional resources to manage sales lead funnel.
• Generate accurate proposals to include quote, scope of work, and detailed drawings.
• Process client payments using company provided credit card software / app, and/or bank deposits.
• Attend and participate in all scheduled sales team meetings, individual one-on-one meetings, product and process trainings, and special events as directed by management.
• Attend and participate in occasional industry association events as directed by management.
• Work with Client, Sales Management, Admin, Purchasing and Operations teams in a collaborative manner to work through any issues, and to produce the best outcome for all parties.
• Work in partnership with the Synergy team, as needed, to develop best practices, introduce new products, and improve processes.

Who You Are:

• A creative thinker with at least 2 years of experience in outdoor living design, capable of creating unique and functional designs that align with client needs and budget constraints.
• Proficient in handling projects involving complex constructions such as fire pits and outdoor kitchens.
• Proven track record in home improvement sales.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and CRM systems.
• Familiar with design tools like, CAD, Sketchup, 2020 Kitchen Design, or Pro-Fit 3D.
• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and in possession of a clean driving record.

Schedule:

The Lakewood Ranch store is open from 10:00AM-7:00PM Monday through Friday, and 10:00AM-6:00PM Saturday. Sales team members arrive 1 hour prior to opening and will work through closing time. Workdays will include a 1-hour lunch break.
