Location: San Bernardino, California

Duration: August through December

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in San Bernardino, California for a temporary position from August through December. As an integral member of our interdisciplinary team, the SLP will be responsible for providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services to individuals across the lifespan.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client/patient.
Implement evidence-based interventions to address speech and language deficits, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language comprehension and expression.
Provide therapy services in various settings, including schools, clinics, hospitals, and homes.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes for clients/patients.
Monitor progress, adjust treatment goals and strategies as needed, and document all clinical activities in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
Educate clients/patients, families, and caregivers on speech and language disorders, therapy techniques, and home-based exercises to support ongoing progress and carryover of skills.
Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
Adhere to ethical principles and standards of practice outlined by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and relevant state licensing boards.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA or eligibility for clinical fellowship year (CFY).
California state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Experience working with individuals across the lifespan, including pediatric and adult populations, preferred.
Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for a wide range of speech and language disorders.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Flexibility to travel to various locations within San Bernardino County.
Current CPR certification (preferred).
