    Primary Purpose

    Responsible for monitoring 3-D lab during open lab hours while students work on class projects.

    Essenatial Duties and Responsibilities

    Student worker is responsible for the safe use and security of the lab equipment during open lab hours. Light clean-up duties may be required. Responsible for turning off all equipment and verifying the room is locked at the end of the shift.

    May be asked to assist in other art labs or gallery events if needed.

    • Ability to use software including Microsoft Office Suite and email.
    Ergonomic Requirements

    A flexible work schedule may be necessary due to the nature of the responsibilities. Opportunities may exist for evening or weekend hours.

    Incumbent must be able to function effectively indoors in a sculpture studio and wood shop. Requires to write, read written materials and computer screens, and ability to use telephonic conversations. Occasional lifting up to 25lbs. May need to use a ladder. All individuals are required to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

    Minimum Requirements


    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Awarded and accepted Federal Work-Study for
    • Meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress for financial aid.

    • Experience with sculpture and other 3-D art forms
    • Have taken art courses
