    OverviewThe Reporting & Compliance team supports Deriva Energy's business. Team members actively partner with the business to support a growing portfolio of non-regulated solar and wind assets. The Lead Accounting Analyst
    • Reporting & Compliance will function primarily in a reviewer role, responsible for reviewing all compliance and reporting aspects of assigned solar and wind operating projects, including various project deliverables (lender requirements under project/portfolio financings including financial statements and debt service coverage ratios among other things), interaction with various internal and external parties, and various compliance reporting.
    This role requires familiarity with a variety of accounting concepts, practices and procedures to assist with the compliance and reporting of the assigned projects.

    The ideal candidate will possess strong attributes for accuracy and will be highly detail-oriented with experience in managing and reviewing the work of others, preferably financial statements.

    ResponsibilitiesReview quarterly and annual financial statements for assigned project/portfolio financings/partnershipsReview quarterly or semi-annual debt service coverage ratio filings for assigned project/portfolio financingsOversee portions of internal reporting requirementsOversee analytical reviews of assigned projects' resultsReview annual external audit deliverables for assigned project/portfolio financings/partnershipsBecome knowledgeable of assigned projects/portfolios by reviewing financing and partnership agreementsEnsure compliance with debt covenants, and any new applicable accounting standardsInterface with lenders, JV partners, external auditors, vendors and consultants as requiredComplete ad hoc requests for internal and external parties or special projects, as assignedPotentially supervise and support the development of direct reportsQualifications
    • BasicBachelor's degree with major in Accounting/Finance or related disciplineEight (8) plus years of increasingly diverse or complex experience in related field in addition to degreePossesses and applies fundamental accounting and finance concepts, practices, and proceduresExperience with financial applications (i.
    e., OneStream, Cubes, etc.) and query tool (WebI)Experience using Microsoft products such as Excel, Word and Power PointExperience in supervising and developing direct reportsQualifications
