    Manufacturing Engineer Sr FACO/Flight Line What You Will Be Doing
    As a Manufacturing Engineer with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, you'll play a pivotal role in our F-16 Final Assembly and Flight Line team
    Responsible for supporting all stages of program lifecycle, from manufacturing plan development to post-delivery support, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient and effective aircraft production

    Key Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement manufacturing plans for the F16 platform, ensuring alignment with program requirements and objectives
    • Provide support for fullrate production standup, including process optimization, tooling development, and production line layout
    • Conduct thorough analysis of manufacturing processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
    • Interface with shop floor personnel, design engineering, quality engineering, and other engineering disciplines to address production challenges and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall production performance, while providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and production personnel

    Basic Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of professional experience, 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree, or 10 Years experience in the absence of a Bachelors Degree
    Experience with technical principles, theories and concepts, in related field Experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) modeling Experience with interpreting structural and systems engineering drawings Experience working corrective action and process improvements

    Desired Skills:
    5+ years previous manufacturing/operations engineering experience Demonstrated effective communication skills including verbal, listening, technical writing, and presentations Strong project/time management skills Self-motivated, performs work with the general direction Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical personnel Background and working knowledge of tool design and tooling issues Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment Ability to independently determine and develop approach to solutions

    Security Clearance Statement:
    This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Ability to Work Remotely:
    Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    Work Schedules:
    Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees
    Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed

    These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
