Trng & Dev Spec – Junior-Level, Port San Antonio, JBSA, San Antonio, TX
BB&E is seeking a Junior-Level Training & Development Specialist to support AFCEC at Port San Antonio, JBSA, San Antonio, TX.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) Environmental Management Directorate Training & Development Course Support.
Assist the Air Force (AF) in
designing/creating/reviewing/updating
training courses, manuals, online learning modules, and other training materials.
Consolidate training materials and information from a variety of customers, coordinate with base points of contacts (POCs), major commands, and Subject Matter Experts (SME) to
track/organize/resolve
comments regarding course development and training material approval.
Review course content for
applicability/compliance
with state/federal regulatory requirements.
Plan/schedule/participate
in online collaboration meetings via
DCS/telecommunications,
attend environmental and training working group team meetings, record minutes and provide materials (slides, handouts, etc.).
Assist with
coordination/facilitation
for official seminars and training forums, scheduling Government employee instructors and SMEs, coordinating training attendance and approval requests.
Monitor AF training requests and provide responses regarding training products and availability.
Provide
logistical/facilitation
support for AF training, scheduling room and
dates/times, troubleshooting systems and equipment, disseminating briefing materials, tracking/posting attendance records, maintaining a list of future training topics, and producing meeting minutes.
Coordinate submission of environmental award packages, review submissions for completeness, and coordinate review/edits of award packages.EDUCATION:
Minimum BA/BS Degree.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS &
SKILLS:
At least one year of relevant experience (experience with Air Force Training preferred).
Strong written and verbal communication skills, technical writing experience, ability to develop rapport and cooperate with AF SMEs, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, experience with facilitating AF training and using SharePoint a plus.
US CitizenshipDoD Government National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI)/Common Access Card.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 60% of the time.
Operate office equipment, including computer, copy machine, phone, etc.
Light lifting, under 10 lbs.
Ability to be on-site.
