Maintenance Engineer - Baltimore, United States - Aerotek

    **Description:**

    + Perform daily preventive maintenance rounds reporting all deficiencies to the Lead Mechanic or Chief Engineer

    + Respond and repair HVAC

    + Valves, isolate plumbing

    + Complete minor repairs to building systems such as plumbing and HVAC

    + Perform preventive maintenance on designated equipment

    + Keep inventory of all equipment stock including lights, filters, restroom paper supplies etc., advise Chief Engineer when stock is low

    + Monitor contractor work throughout the facility

    + Replace burned out light bulbs and replace and rewire lighting ballasts as required

    + Perform other functions and duties as assigned

    + Need to be familiar with electrical systems

    + Job requires ability to lift 50 pounds, repetitive ladder climbing with the ability to work overhead while on ladder for extended periods of time.
