Job Summary and Qualifications
The Assistant Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) promotes high quality patient-centered care by assisting the CNO in executive-level management of resources strategic planning and development The ACNO has operational functional responsibility for a group of patient care areas or special projects initiatives The ACNO will develop communication knowledge leadership professionalism business skills necessary to advance to a CNO Major Responsibilities Quality Assists CNO in formulating policies procedures which are consistent with recognized standards of professional practice and reflect the intent of regulatory standards ensure continuous performance improvement initiatives are designed measure improve quality care delivered consistent organization priorities +
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Required
- Master's Degree in Nursing related healthcare field OR current enrollment Masters program equivalent Required
- 5+ years experience supervisory nursing role Required
5+ years experience direct leadership hospital patient care environment Required+
