Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Clerk. The ideal candidate will be responsible for billing/coding processes for laboratory procedures ensuring accurate electronic and invoicing billing. Experience is a MUST. The Billing Clerk will play a crucial part in the financial operations of our organization by analyzing billing data and performing account reconciliations. This job is Monday-Friday. NO Weekends or Holidays 0900 to 1730.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients in a timely manner
- Perform account reconciliation to resolve discrepancies
- Analyze billing data to identify trends and improve processes
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with the preparation of financial/patient reports as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to address billing inquiries and resolve issues
- Stay updated on ICD-10 coding standards as applicable to billing practices
Qualifications
- Experience in medical/Laboratory billing
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Previous experience as a billing clerk
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ $35.00 per hour
