Hours:

• Part-time role with flexible hours up to 35 hours per week.
• Some afterschool and Saturday hours will be needed.
• Center is open 10am-8:30pm Monday-Thursday, Fridays 11am-7pm, and Saturdays 9am-3pm.

What a typical day can look like:

• Reviewing student learning programs to assess progress and making alterations when needed to ensure students achieve their goals.
• Conferencing with parents to discuss student progress, next steps, and additional tutoring needs.
• Regularly meeting with school teachers and counselors to support student progress.
• Identifying and leading community and school-based marketing activities to raise awareness of our services and student results.
• Training and supervising part-time teachers to fuel the highest quality teaching.
• Teaching students when needed.

A successful candidate has the following:

• A completed, 4-year degree from an accredited college or university.
• Teaching/tutoring experience a plus but not required.
• 3+ years experience in program management and/or customer service/client management setting.
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
• Empathic approach and passion for helping kids achieve their academic goals.
• Able to advocate for students' success and comfortable recommending additional tutoring services.
