    Compensation:
    $22 - $24 per hour
    We are currently hiring for a Claims Specialist

    Schedule:
    Monday-Friday. This is a full-time, in-office/in-person position working in our Raleigh, NC office.

    Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm

    Pay:
    $22+ based on experience.


    The Claims Specialist will gather, investigate, and analyze information in response to automotive damage claims arising from the repossession, transport, and/or storage process.

    This position will operate within the scope of applicable laws and regulations and in a manner that represents professionalism and does not jeopardize the integrity of the company or its clients.

    Coordinate with the Claims team, customers, repossession companies, and other departments regarding information needed for the processing of claims and complaints; gather information to assist the Claims team in determining validity of claims and complaints.

    Assist the Claims Manager in reviewing claims and notifying customers of decisions regarding their claim; draft denial letters and settlement release paperwork for review by the Claims Manager.

    Effectively communicate with all parties involved in resolving claims (client, customer, agent, etc.).
    Process inbound calls from customers and take them through the formal claims process.
    Assist in updating and maintaining claims tracking.
    Liaise with the Vendor Relations team regarding vendor issues and related compliance.
    Maintain understanding of business units to assist in privacy/information security compliance issues.
    Conduct audits ensuring compliance with procedures and requirements.
    Other duties as assigned.
    Job Requirements
    High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Associates or Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
    3-5 years of experience in an administrative role is required; prior experience in claims handling is preferred.
    Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to be diplomatic and assertive as needed.
    Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality policies and procedures.
    Proficient in MS Office Suite.

    Must be able to adhere to process protocol and to apply established protocols in a timely manner.

    Move equipment and objects up to 30 pounds.
