    Description

    CR Fletcher is partnering with an established company in the Syracuse area looking for a Human Resource Generalist. The Human Resources Generalist supports payroll, benefits, leave administration, HRIS reporting, and employee relations. This role requires strong experience with ADP Workforce Now and hands-on involvement in payroll, benefits, and compliance in a fast-paced, fully in-office environment.
    Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, Temp to Hire Opportunity
    Location: On-site only
    Key Responsibilities

    • Process weekly payroll, including timecard review, garnishments, corrections, and compliance
    • Administer benefits enrollment, open enrollment, and ACA reporting
    • Manage leave of absence processes (FMLA, ADA, Short-Term Disability)
    • Prepare and maintain HRIS reports (KPIs, compensation, new hires, terminations)
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
    • Assist with unemployment claims, employment verifications, and audits
    • Interpret HR policies and respond to employee inquiries
    • Support employee relations activities, investigations, and exit/stay interviews
    • Prepare HR documentation and assist with HR projects as assigned
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, or related field
    • 3-5 years of progressive HR experience
    • 1-3 years of payroll processing experience
    • Extensive experience with ADP Workforce Now
    • Experience with benefits administration and leave management
    • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
    • Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced team environment
