AKHIRE IS RECRUITING FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION:
Mechanic and Maintenance - Remote Lodge, AK - Seasonal
Duties - Mechanic - Remote Lodge, AK - Seasonal
Beginning of the season:
Prepare 15 boats incl. engines and water them (tractor and 4-wheeler), clean diesel tank, start generator, helping to start water system, general maintenance of 15 buildings, check and repair copper-water lines.
During the season:
Maintenance of 12x 15hp Yamaha boat engines, 3x Suzuki and Yamaha 90 and 60hp Jet-engines.
Cleaning boats, tanks, unload gas and diesel barrels, fill generator tank with diesel, maintain diesel generator, fixing buildings (in case that's necessary). Cure salmon eggs for fishing, maintain tractor and 4-Wheeler. Changing propane tanks when their empty and helping guests with their luggage and shuttle them by Jet boat to and from the lodge to the float plane landing spots.
End of the season: cleaning boats, floating devices, etc. with pressure washer, shut down well system for winterizing, maintain buildings to winterize
Requirements
Mechanic: For maintenance of motorboats (Yamaha engines), fueling boats, general repairs on water system, maintenance on diesel generator
Need to have experience with driving a boat and experience with maintenance would be a big plus.
