    Principal Software Engineer, CTS Engineering, FactSet Research Systems Inc., New York, NY: Manages a team of software engineers or projects within CTS Engineering. Duties include: Review product requirement documents, write technical design documents, implements and tracks development timelines, and negotiates feature sets with development leads and product teams. Provides guidance and direction to team on software design and implementation. Reviews code changes and submissions. Reacts to Market influences by reprioritizing projects on an as-needed basis. Ensures that all related systems are operating reliably and efficiently.

    Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or higher, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field and at least 7 years of software engineering experience. Must have experience with the following: AWS, Python, Snowflake, Market Data, ETL Best Practices, Unix, MS Sql Server, Tableau, Spark, data at scale. Must have full software engineering life cycle experience.

    Basic pay range is two hundred sixty-three thousand dollars to two hundred ninety-three thousand dollars per year for full -time employment (Mon. - Fri This position qualifies for the internal FactSet employee referral program.
