- Implements lessons learned and best practices from other sites and external parties at the crew level
- Influences and motivates change in operational behavior and processes at a crew level
- Makes observations, reports and root cause analysis to Senior Innovation Engineer regarding continuous improvement opportunities on assigned crews
- Innovation Engineer I Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline with no experience required.
- Exposure to probability, statistical analysis and reliability engineering
- Ability to research and interpret data of minimal complexity using hypothesis generation and Design of Experiment methodologies
- Knowledge of software tools (Python, R, SQL, Excel, etc.)
- Knowledge of the equipment and associated SOPs at a crew level.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Experience leading problem solving, root cause analysis, or similar
- Experience interacting with frontline in industrial environment
