The Insurance State Filings Analyst (A&H) is responsible for preparing submitting negotiating state rate rule form filings to enable AXIS Accident & Health business units bring products market write profitable business

Responsibilities

  • Rate Form Filings Prepare submit track insurance rate form filings A&H products state regulatory authorities working minimal direction A&H products include blanket group accident critical illness disability GAP hospital indemnity dental vision employer stop loss leisure travel pet insurance products
  • Coordination Collaborate internal stakeholders underwriting product development legal actuarial gather validate necessary information assigned A&H filings ensure alignment regulatory requirements This includes identifying when additional support help needed internal stakeholders complete submission insurance department filing
  • Manage filing process assigned filing projects Assigning objections comments appropriate stakeholder handling Respond objections handled within State Rate Form Filing unit Monitor SERFF FilingRamp verify assigned filing projects handled timely manner following up necessary on status including monitoring deadlines objection comment responses following up stakeholders required
  • Serve primary point contact assigned filing projects Communication frequency agreed upon filing project Provide opinions filing projects business units format timing approaches use When applicable partner external vendors facilitate preparation submission rate form filings A&H products Process SERFF EFT reports requested Role may additional duties responsibilities consistent nature level position
